| Hi, my name is Jason David Aquino Yee. I am trying to find Genealogy information for the Yee and Aquino family in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. For the Yee family, my origins root back to Canton, China. My great grandfather(Cho Chong Yee) and great grandmother(Wan Hai Hum) both immigrated from China to San Francisco. Eventually, my great uncles followed, Yuk Ying Yee(George) ,and Gel Ying Yee(Joe). A few relatives are known to be in the Detroit area, and also Australia. My grandfather (Sal Ying Yee) stayed in China until the early 1980's where he settled down in Cornwall, Ontario with his sons Ding Wong(David), Ding Sun(Sonny), Ding Cheng(Richard), and Ding Bun(Benny). My grandmother's name is Wan Yuk Hum. My other uncle, Ding Lap(Danny), lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I have two aunts, Moon Ling(Elaine), and Moon Wah(Eva). My aunt Elaine lives in Toronto, Ontario with her husband(Andy Chan) and three children. And My aunt Eva resides in Cambridge, Ontario with her husband(Andrew Wang) and her four children. On the Aquino side, my ancestary can be traced back to Cavite City, Philippines. A few of my relatives are now situated along the California Coast (San Francisco and Oxnard), and Manila. My great grandparents names are...Lioncio Aquino and Rufina Alcantara(grandfather's side), and Margarita Musugi and ??? Castillo(grandmother's side). My grandmother's name is Gorgonia Musugi Castillo, and my grandfather's name is Francisco Aquino. My mother(Teresita) had five brothers(Delfin, Pacifico, Jessie, Ben, and Tony), and three sisters(Ester, Lydia, and Pura). |
