I have been updating the Yegge family tree that was done byC.Fred Yegge and issued on March 21, 1939, to then, familymembers of the original 10 children that came to this country with their parents, Johann Fridolin Jagge and wife Franziska, from the town of Sisseln in Switzerland. They arrived on the Ship "American Union" which I have also the history and a photo of, along with information on the "Jegge" family crest..We have spent time in the town of Sisseln and Eiken visiting with many of the Jegges still living in the same area.I am looking to expand the information of the 10 families in my history of the Yegge family along with additional history and family stories.We have also gathered much history of the early years of the family going back to the first recordings of two brothers in 1354. History of the land, people and why we think the family packed up and moved to America in 1852.Any information on the "Yegge" family history would be appreciated.
