Hi there...
I am new to family tree research. My starting point is a wealth of information regarding the Yeomans family in Canada gathered by my Mother, and information collected by my wife, Lori, regarding various surnames in her family tree.

We have traced our branch of the Yeomans family back to a Benjamin Yeomans who came to New Brunswick from the United States following the American Revolution.

We are investigating the brothers of Benjamin, who came to New Brunswick with him, as well as their father about whom we have no information.

We have also traced one branch of my wife's family back to a Robert McLaren born in Townland of Ture, Parish of Templencore, County Donegal, Ireland. He came to Canada in 1834/35.

We would like to find out about Robert McLaren's ancestors in Ireland, as well as information regarding one of his sons, Hugh McLaren, who left New Brunswick and had no further contact with the family.

We are also going to investigate several other surnames. These include Hubley, MacMichael, and Sargeant on my side, and FitzGerald, Foster, and Tower on my wife's side.

I will be updating this page and my own home page with more information, as I sort through it.

Would love to share information with anyone else researching these names.
