I am researching information on the Yeoman family beginning with Abram Yeoman who was born in Onondaga, NY, in 1825. The 1840 NY census seems to indicate that his father's name was Abraham but no other information is available. He moved with his family to Portage City, WI, in the 1850s and married Rebecca Towner in 1856. Abram and Rebecca then moved to the Des Moines, IA, area in 1871 and raised cattle. In 1877 they moved to Rush County, KS, where he farmed.

I am also researching information about Edward Horton Brown who was born April 10, 1835, in Zanesfield, OH. He fought in the War of the Rebellion with the 96th Ohio. Edward married Malinda Crispen September 7, 1867. She died in 1875 leaving one child, Eva. He remarried October 11, 1877, to Deborah Stanton and moved to Sterling, KS, and then settled in Barclay, KS.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
