The YOES Family Home Page
Updated September 6, 2000About 1775, Nathan Yoes (oldest) and John Yoes were born in North Carolina (or Virginia). They traveled through South Carolina, lived in Tennessee about 20 years, and descendants scattered to Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, etc. The YOES name is unique, so anyone with that name or related to that name would have information of interest; although, the relationship between the "Arkansas YOES group" and the rest is not clear at this point.Closely related to my family are the Crane, Musslewhite. Other relatives of interest are Robert Smith (Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas) and David Giles Baker, (Tennessee and Texas). I have a lot of information that I will gladly share. Still have some "holes" and missing links that need to be filled. |
