| I am just beginning research on my family. My goal is to gather as much information as I can and present it to my parents and my daughter when I feel it is complete.My family is now in Southwest Louisiana, but I do know it goes back to Spain. My father is James Reed Romero, Sr. His parents were Felix Romero and Louise Stutes. Evelyn Guidry was Felix Romero's 2nd wife. They were from Mermentau and Morse, Louisiana. My mother is Shirley Ann Crochet. Her parents were Terry Crochet and Lena LeJeune. They were from Hathaway and Elton, Louisiana. Father of my daughter was Curtis Paul Hebert (born May 1931 and died December 1982). His father was an Hebert and his mother was a Smith. I am also searching for information for my husband, Gail Allen Yohey. His family is from Ohio. Gail's father was Gerald Yohey and his mother is Dorothy, who was a Lightcap. |
