We are researching the surnames of York, and McClure primarily. Both of these families are from Texas and Oklahoma during the later 1800s and the 1900s. More names from the trees are: from the York tree - Bridgewater, Northcutt, Landon, Higgins, Fritch, Henson. And the McClure side of the tree: Patterson, Redding, Cotton, this group would be primarily of Texas, while the early Yorks came mostly from Oklahoma. If you have any information about any of these names and/or would like for me to share any with you, please feel free to contact me via email. The address is ml2talk@itexas.net.
