I have been researching the story of my grandparents Hulda Katrina Kjallman (1881) and Johan August Johansson (John August Johnson) (1877). They settled in the Northern Minnesota area, having immigrated from the Halsingland area of Sweden in 1906.

Hulda also had two aunts and uncles that immigrated to the Minnesota area. They are Emma (Emfrid) Person (1861) and her husband Peter (Per) Larson (1854), they immigrated in 1893 with their 6 children; and Inga Gunilla Kjallman (1855) and her husband Jonas Jonsson (John Johnson) (1853) who also immigrated in 1893 with their 7 children. I believe they may have traveled together.

I am interested in corresponding with anyone who thinks they may be related. I am willing to share my information and photos.

I am also researching my Italian roots... Guiseppe (Joseph) Pileggi (1856) and his wife Rosa Care (1859) and their children Da-Nora (Eleanor),Domenico,Vincenzo (Jimmy) and Giovanni (John) Pileggi. They settled in the Westchester County area of New York.

I am interested in the Iorio/Yorio family...Frank, Joseph and Anna (Yorio) Percoco. They settled in the Bronx and Brooklyn areas.
Lastly the Casella/Cassella and Sebastiano families. The Casella/Cassella family...Michele (Michael), Gerard, Marietta (Casella) Ciancia, Raphaela (Casella) Nenna. They settled in the New York City area, though a branch of the Cassella family moved to Connecticut area.
