1. THOMAS¹ BRADFORD, R.S. was born 1756 in Edgecombe Co. NC, and died 1841 in Irwin Co. GA. He married ELIZABETH MARSHALL, daughter of MATTHEW MARSHALL.

Thomas Bradford, R.S. served in the Revolutionary War as a lieutenant from Halifax district in 1778. He served as coroner of Montgomery County GA., being commissioned April 9, 1813.

Thomas is buried in Soldier's Cmt., 4 mi. n. of Lax, Ga in Irwin Co. GA.

There is a monument erected by the DAR to his memory and that of James Griffin as Patriots of the Revolutionary War.

Micajah was a member of Emmaeus (Flat Creek) Primitive Baptist Church in Berrien County when it was formed about 1842; and died a member.
