EABORN J. BRADFORD:
Extract from the Valdosta Times of June 7, 1884:

"It is with a feeling of sadness that we notice the death of Seaborn J. Bradford, one of Clinch County's oldest and most respected citizens. Mr. Bradford has been confined to his bed with a lingering illness of three months, during which he bore it with Christian resignation...It may be truly said there has departed a good and honest man, occasioning a vacancy that will long be felt in the community where he lived. He died in his 67th year, leaving behind the rich inheritance of a well spent life and a character of jewel brightness and diamond hardness."

Seaborn Bradford was the first surveyor of Berrien Co. Georgia. He served on the first Grand Jury in Berrien Co. in 1856.
