4 i.   Enoch W Hilton, born Abt. 1830 in Indiana; died March 19, 1888 in Watson, Clark Co., Indiana; married Ruth Bennett August 8, 1852 in Clark Co., Indiana.
ii.   Christina Jane Hilton, born Abt. 1832; died Unknown; married James A Morphis March 1850 in Clark Co., Indiana; born Unknown; died Unknown.
  Notes for James A Morphis:
His name may be spelled Morphas rather than Morphis, which I copied from the marriage record.

They also had a daughter. I got their childrens' name from the family history compiled by Virginia Lee Jacobs Christensen in 1939.

iii.   Sarah Ann Hilton, born Abt. 1834; died Unknown; married James K Adair March 1852 in Clark Co., Indiana; born Abt. 1831; died Unknown.
  Notes for James K Adair:
In the 1860 Census for Clark County, Indiana, Sarah's husband was called Hamilton. In the marriage extract I used, she married James K Adair. Perhaps the K was really a H and stood for Hamilton???

iv.   Marinda Caroline Hilton, born Abt. 1837; died Bef. 1859.
  v.   William James Hilton, born Abt. 1840; died Unknown.
  Notes for William James Hilton:
The Jacobs family history says he married a southern woman. (Not sure what that means, could she have been from across the river in Kentucky?)

vi.   Eli J Hilton, born Abt. 1843; died Unknown; married Esther Ann Perkins November 24, 1865 in Clark Co., Indiana; born Unknown; died Unknown.
  Notes for Eli J Hilton:
The writer of the Jacobs History in 1939 said that Eli and wife, Hester Perkins, lived in Macon, Ga. .

      10. Benjamin Bennett, Sr, born September 23, 1790 in Maryland; died July 20, 1866. He married 11. Elizabeth.

      11. Elizabeth, born 1796 in North Carolina; died 1869.

Notes for Benjamin Bennett, Sr:
The 1830 Clark Co., Indiana census record showed five sons older than Bannett. I only know two of them.

Grave Location: New Chapel Cemetery, Watson, Clark Co., Indiana

More About Elizabeth:
Grave Location: New Chapel Cemetery, Watson, Clark Co., Indiana

Children of Benjamin Bennett and Elizabeth are:
  i.   Tilman Bennett, born November 29, 1825 in Indiana; died Unknown; married Elizabeth Emily Bennett November 6, 1845 in Clark Co., Indiana; born 1823 in Clark Co., Indiana; died Unknown.
  Notes for Tilman Bennett:
My Granny's (Lillie May Young nee Hilton) Bible listed as her dad's uncle a Tilford Bennet, born November 29, 1825. I believe this Tilman is that person and Granny just got the first name a little wrong.

ii.   John Bennett, born May 27, 1828; died September 11, 1861; married Nancy J Sage May 1849 in Clark Co., Indiana; born Abt. 1834; died Unknown.
  More About John Bennett:
Grave Location: New Chapel Cemetery, Watson, Clark Co., Indiana

Marriage Notes for John Bennett and Nancy Sage:
May 2, 1849 was the license date. Marriage date is probably a few days later.

iii.   Baker Bennett, born November 14, 1829 in Indiana; died September 10, 1876.
  More About Baker Bennett:
Grave Location: New Chapel Cemetery, Watson, Clark Co., Indiana

iv.   Patsy Bennett, born Abt. 1833 in Indiana; died Unknown.
  Notes for Patsy Bennett:
Patsy is a common name for one named Martha. There is a Martha Bennett who married George Richardson in 1852, the license was issued 15 September 1852. This may be Patsy. I will follow up in the Clark County records.

5 v.   Ruth Bennett, born January 13, 1834 in Indiana; died November 21, 1887 in Watson, Clark Co., Indiana; married Enoch W Hilton August 8, 1852 in Clark Co., Indiana.
vi.   Sarah Bennett, born Abt. 1835 in Indiana; died Unknown.
vii.   Avy Bennett, born Abt. 1838 in Indiana; died Unknown.
viii.   Joshua L Bennett, born Abt. 1839 in Indiana; died Unknown.

      14. Henry Wilkins, born in Paris, France. He married 15. Martha Elizabeth Bracher.

      15. Martha Elizabeth Bracher, born in London, England.

Notes for Henry Wilkins:
With his name being Wilkie, which is more German than French, we speculate that he was from that part of Europe that switched between Germany and France, depending on who had won the most recent war.

Update 4/11/1997, I have received from Nick Klinstiver a copy of a list of names written by Minnie B (Klinstiver) Savage, giving parents' and siblings' names as well as her mother's parents' names. Her parents' names, as she listed them, corresponds closely with the marriage record from Butler Co., Pa. which Nick Klinstiver obtained and forwarded to me. Namely, Minnie said her parents names were John Bauldhauser Kleinstauber and Minnie Dora Wilkins. Minnie also listed her mother's parents as Martha Elizabeth Bracher from London and Henry Wilkens from Paris. Another source, Wilhelmina's death certificate, with information provided by Jennie or Minnie Lamb, said her father was George Wilkie. I believe Minnie Savage's information is probably the better.

Children of Henry Wilkins and Martha Bracher are:
  i.   Hannah Wilkins
  ii.   Carl Wilkins
  iii.   Ferdinand Wilkins
  iv.   Theodore Wilkins
  v.   Rachel Wilkins
7 vi.   Wilhelmina Dora Wilkins, born December 6, 1832 in Marietta, Pennsylvania; died June 30, 1919 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois; married Johann Balthasar Kleinstšuber February 10, 1852 in Saxonburg, Butler Co., Pennsylvania.
