My links to the past include Johan Philip Iaxethemer who arrived from Germany at the Port of Philadelphia on Sept. 2, 1749 aboard the Albany and Elisabetha Catharina Adam who arrived Aug. 17, 1733 aboard The Samuel. The Yoxtheimer surname has many variations including Jaxheimer, Jacksheimer, and Yoxheimer. Other surnames I am researching include Handke, Lambacher, Delp, Shipman, Fosselman, Christman, Swinehart, Howle, Gainey, Byrd. other interests: Gettysburg and Titanic. |
