| I am looking for information on my grandfather, Harold Borchert. We think that he was born in Indianapolis in 1860. We know that he died in Holland, Michigan in 1925.He told his sons, Harold and Fred, that their grandfather was a German ship captain, named Peter, who came from Germany and stayed in the U.S. This Peter had a walking stick with a brass animal head that was said to have been made in the Black Forest region of Germany. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Of course, I will be glad to share any of the information that I have. |
