This is the homepage of the Zaagman Family from Rye, NY, and The Hague, the Netherlands. Like all people with the surname Zaagman, we have our roots in the province of Groningen, the northeastern province of the Netherlands, Europe. A Dutch family of four - wife and husband, son and daughter - we are looking to research and build a family tree which would include those ancestors and relatives who have moved and/or are living in the USA. So we do not intend to restrict it to only a 'narrow' tree. So far, I have found about seventy Zaagman families in the USA, mainly in Michigan and Illinois, and approximately the same number in the Netherlands. The immigrant ancestor of a sizable branch of Michigan Zaagmans was the brother of my great-great-grandfather!
