| I am researching the history of William C. HOUSTON who was born in Antrim, Ireland approximately 1822. He came to America and settled down in Philadelphia and later purchased a farm in South Bend, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. He was married to Lydia Jane SNYDER. They had ten children. One of their sons, Joshua Houston, settled in Apollo, Armstrong County, PA and lived their until his death in October, 1926. One of their daughters, Francine (Fanny), married Jeremia George and they lived in Girty, Armstrong County, PA until their deaths. Another of their sons, Andrew, settled in Ohio. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who knows of the Houstons and/or their decendents. |
