My family tree starts with Robert and Elizabeth Meers (he born in 1592, her, 1605, London) They arrived in this country on The Abigal in 1632. The tree follows the generations to the present time, with my family, The Zabritski's. The Zabritski name is a corruption of the Lithuanian name Zabruckas, or Zubrickas. It was changed when my father-in-law was raised in a Polish orphanage until the early 1920's. |
