I am presently working hard to save some of the pioneer history of the Fayette Iowa area and in the process there is a great deal of information being uploaded on Fayette County in general.

The main surnames of family interest are HUNT, THOMPSON, STRAYER, PARSON, ZBORNIK, NEUENSCHWANDER, but other many other related surnames are of interest in my FTM files and in the data linked off the Sitemap. I have quit a bit of info on surnames STRAYER, HECKART, THOMPSON, ALBAUGH posted. I have only limited PARSONS, CAPPER and other fringe surname info. The HUNT surname is of significant interest and needs much more of my time. I have the major work of the ZBORNIK line put together by cousin Stephen from Winneshiek Co, IA, but have not done anymore than start the posting of the info.
