The Zeiners of Eastern Pennsylvania, USA

This site is devoted to the continuing genealogical research for relatives of the Zeiner Family of Eastern Pennsylvania,United States of America, especially those in the counties of Berks, Northampton, and Lehigh. We're especially trying to locate information on George Zeiner (husband of Christine & Anna Jacoby and the first known Zeiner in the Northampton/NW Bucks County area, born latter half of 1700's) and his ancestors. His descendants were Jacob Zeiner (1794-1865); Charles Zeiner (1830-1900); Samuel Zeiner (1852-1910); Ellsworth Zeiner (1879-1960); and Earl E. Zeiner (1930-present). We believe that George's father was a Jacob Zeiner who might have immigrated to the US from southern Germany.

We are currently utilizing Family Treemaker Version 7 software, local libraries, church and court records, the World Wide Web, and anything else we can possibly think of, in order to complete our family tree as far back as possible. Anyone with information on the Zeiner/Strauss/Frey/Boehm/Grube/Eichelberger/ Gross/Bauder/Paul/Messinger/Oswald families of the Northampton and Lehigh Counties, Pennsylvania, please contact us.
