| We are "Coal Crackers" from a small town in upstate Pennsylvania called Mahanoy City. There are still some family members living there, but my side of the family moved to Philadelphia, PA about 50+ years ago. After the mines closed down there were no jobs, so people had to leave the town in search of jobs. |
