Our family is researching various lines in the USA, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, and England. Currently the ZELLER family goes back to Barthome Zeller, born before 1699 in Oberried bei Zweisimmen, Switzerland. The KRATZER family is documented back to Peter Kratzer, born before 1662 in Aeschi bei Spiez, Switzerland. The DÄHLER family goes back to Sebastian Dähler, born about 1590 in Seftigen, Switzerland. The WARD family traces back to Thomas Ward Jr., whose son Peter was born in 1776 and lived in Abbeville District, South Carolina. We are working on how we are related to Thomas Ward Sr., also of Abbeville District. Peter Ward's wife Amy Galbreath was the daughter of William and Hannah Galbreath of Newberry County, SC. The ECKSTEIN Family (in Ohio and Pennsylvania) traces back to David Eckstein, born about 1758 in Württenberg, Germany. We are also looking for information on the GUSTAFSON family, tracing back to John Gustafson, born before 1850 in Källbyn in Svanskog, Vaarmland, Sweden, as well as the CARLSEN and BENJAMENSEN families in Oslo, Norway (Karoline Benjaminsen before 1850) and Finland (Carl Eric Benjaminson before 1850).

Other surnames with more than 70 individuals in our files include STANLEY, VERNON and WHINERY.

Our family file currently consists of 10,717 names, mainly in Ohio, where the Ward Family Reunion is held annually in Winona, Ohio, near Salem in Columbiana County. Information requests are always welcome at:
