I am doing research on the Zimmerman, Byers, Rosborough, and Bell familes. Our branch of the Zimmermans begin in the US when Gustave Zimmerman arrived in Kansas from Munich in the 1880s. The Byers family are from Williams County, Ohio, with the earliest record found so far being Hiram Byers, sheriff of Williams County in 1860. Our branch of the Rosboroughs emigrated from northern Ireland to Ontario, Canada, and are traced back to Patrick Rosbrough in Scotland, 1622. The Bells emigrated to Ontario, Canada, from Scotland. I am looking to extend my research, particularly with the Zimmerman and Byers families, and will appreciate any information available. I will also be glad to share what I have. |
