I started researching the Hatch and Jarvis family in Jan. 2000. I have contacted many family members and have had a lot of great responses.
Our HATCH line goes back to Phillip Hatch of Maine.
Our MAYFLOWER connection is from William White and his wife Susanna and son Resolved, all passengers on the MAYFLOWER in 1620.
Our Jarvis line, has gone back to my 4xgreat grandfather, Edward D. Jarvis born on March 1,1795 in Eton,Buckinghamshire, England. He married to Catherine Millay. They had 9 children. My 3x great grandfather; William E. Jarvis born 1824 married Elvira Maxcy. They had 4 boys. My 2x great grandfather; Frank Selwyn Jarvis, born in Gardiner, ME., 1850. He married Laura J. Bond,in 1876, she was born in New London CT., in 1855. They had 5 children. His son Frank Selwyn Jarvis JR. was born in 1879 in Boston MA., He married Susan Louise Frost, 1906 in Somerville, Massachusetts. They had 3 children, Albert, Louise, and Elizabeth.
Our FROST line goes back to John FROST of Hartest, England, born abt. 1570.
Our POPKISS/ BROCKMAN families go to Holland, England, Africa and to the United States.
Our GRAVES family line needs more work, as I am at a stand still on George William GRAVES born in Boston abt. 1820-1835.
I would welcome any updates, corrections, help or sugestions and I'm hoping to source all information that I have. I am willing to share information.
Our Acadian family connection is LeBlanc (White) and Doucette. Our line goes back to Daniel LeBlanc born 1626, in France. Daniel was in Port Royal, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1671.
Our Doucette side needs to be worked on.
I am also adding my husband's Zimmer and Avery family to this site. I have only gone back to John B. Zimmer born January 1871 in Alsarce, Germany. He married Josephine Knaus. She was born on Feb.6,1876 in Ott, Austria.
The Avery line has only gone back to Benjamin Avery of Barnstead, NH. No proof for family lines before that.
Come and visit the site . I have plenty more surnames and history to pass on. I will enter information as time permits.
Many Thanks to all who have helped on this family tree.
Good Luck with your research!
