| My name is Steven W. Zimmerman. I am searching for the family history for my mother's side. The family originated in Serbia with My great grandmother Anna Tiomirovic coming here in 1919. She was from Velkabarna, Serbia. Her uncle, Thomas Tiomirovic, already in Ohio introduced her to my great grandfather and they married in Ohio. His name is Teso Aleksich or Alek as some records may show. He, along with his brother Paul, came here from Svrgalchin, Serbia. From what I can gather both towns are near Zagreb, Serbia. ( Now Yugoslavia ) |
