Research started in late 1970's in Michigan, Berks County, Pennsylvania, Ontario Canada and then into Germany on the Zimmerman name. The Surname was spelled Zimmermann prior to the 1850's when it had the last "n" dropped for some reason. The research includes the AMEZ name which is my Spouse's Maiden name. |
