| I am currently researching the ZITO family. What I know as of now, is that Vincent Zito came from Palermo,Sicily in , at my best guess, the mid to late teen's. He came to the States, possibly through New Orleans, and married Lillia Mae Woodward around 1917-1918. They had two sons: Phillip Vincent (1919) and Foster Sam (1923). After the death of Lillia, He married Martha Lou Bertha Guinn and they had a daughter: Francis Corrinne(1933). We don't have exact information as of yet on these two marriages. Vincent's parents were Phillipo and Francesca. We know there was a cousin in Huntsville,Alabama in January 1929. And we also know there was a sister, Rosa Sansone,in Rodchester, New York . Vincent also had two brothers in Sicily: Phillip and Salvatore. We don't have hard evidence on some of this information. Some of this information was taken from old, fragile letters recieved from Sicily addressed to Vincent Zito and also oral family history. ANY information would be much appreciated. We are also willing to share our information. We will update our homepage whenever we can. Thank You for stopping by! |
