Notes for King Hayne: Danny Haynes writes: "We certainly can not dismiss the given name King in our Haynes lines. I can find no other King Haynes anywhere in Ohio or the U.S. for that matter between 1800 and 1900 except in our family. There is a King Haynes in 1840/50 in Decatur Twp Washington county OH of sufficient age to be the brother of our Charles. Our Charles Haynes had a son King and my gr gr grandfather Thomas Haynes had a son King Haynes. My Noland lines that married into the Haynes line named some of their sons King as well as Mary Macie Haynes Bergy's lines had King for a given name." |
