Surnames of interest to me are Zullo, Iovine, Abagnara, Visone, Sabasca, Bertuca, Rosa, Roosa, Kendall, Temple and Kelly. They are Italian, Dutch, Irish & English names.

Michele Arcangelo Zullo (b. 1850) and Maddalena Visone (b. 1853) married in Gioia di Sannitica, Italy. They had at least 4 children: Giovanni (b. 1879), Biagio (b. 1881), Mariantonia (b. 1887) & Pasqualina (b. 1896). Giovanni Giuseppe Zullo & Genoveffa Sabasca married and emigrated from Gioia di Sannitica, Italy to America in approximately 1902. They settled in New Haven, Connecticut.

John Henry Kendall (b. 1863) & Mary Ann Kelly (b. 1865) were born in England and Ireland respectively. They married in Greenwich, England and emigrated to America in the late 1800's, settling in Kingston, New York.

William Frederick Rosa & Mary Alice Temple married and lived in New Haven, Connecticut in the late 1800's. William Rosa's family originated in Kingston, NY (Ulster County).

Dominic Iovine & Cristina Abagnara married in Amalfi, Italy in the late 1800's. They emigrated to America in the early 1900's and settled in the New Haven, CT area.

Some of the Bertuca family emigrated to America in the 1950's, originating in the village of Pianopoli, Italy. Some Bertuca family members remain in Italy today.
