| Jacob Kollock was born in Southern France around 1657. He was from a French Huguenot family and the original surname is believed to have been spelled Colloque. Around 1685 Jacob fled France and settled for a short time in Holland. The year was around 1688 when Jacob Kollock showed up in America and settled in Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware. Jacob is the progenitor of the Kollock family in America. |
